Hello everybody

Carburetor settings for 28HB 4- fitted Trabant 601

Can any one explain the reason for the tube fitted to the front of the Vergaser ( Carb) from the air intake connected to the throttle opening.

I am told the tick over is adjusted from the Brass nut fitted on the intake. It very difficult to get to this nut when fitted to the engine.

What does the linkage adjustment do?

The Carb also has a pilot screw and a screw for the throttle adjustment.

The tickover on my engine is ruff and not 100% reliable. I shall remove and clean, but would like to know the workings of this carb.

Thanks for any advise.
